The R’s is a voluntary arm of Fountain of Life, Welwyn Garden City are committed to adding values, building the old waste places and raising up the age old foundations of many generations through community driven projects and programmes. The group was formed 28th of Jan, 2011 with the name and vision of the ministry coined from Isaiah 28:12, which states that, “Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Rebuilder of Broken Walls {Repairer of Breaches}, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings”
Vision & Mission Statement
To become a useful tool in the hand of GOD; sharpened, shapened and strong to re-build broken walls, repair breaches and restore paths.
Our vision which is in line with the overall vision of RCCG is also supportive of Fountain of Life vision in “unearthing potentials; fulfilling purpose”.
Why The R’s
In the midst of a chaos and perverted society, the Lord is seeking for individuals that would rise to the challenge of making an impact in their society or wherever they may be. Through adding values to ourselves, sharing our values in Christ, the world may see something in our lives that they want and as a result we may gain an opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with them and we add value to their lives.
TEAM
The R’s are dynamic individuals consisting of professionals in all walks of life. We believe that we cannot be mediocre in the quest to impact our community and we cannot impact our community unless we have been empowered. Therefore, as a dynamic group, we take every opportunity to develop ourselves and to encourage many others to do likewise. We are excited to meet other young adults and so we encourage you to look out for our events throughout the year brought together by various teams within The R’s. This allows individuals to express themselves, gain skills while impacting their generation.
Four Night Meeting
This is designed to build each other up in faith, career and aspirations. It also allows those seeking a deeper understanding of potentials, purpose to achieve them. We discuss life issues amongst young adults in an inspiring and non-threatening environment. This gives room for self development in areas of team work, communication, and presentation and negotiation skills. As young adults, we partake in group discussions of practical ways in which scriptures can be applied to and issues which concern us today and in our generation. Not farfetched are topics on winning with people, finding interest, failing forward and many more… You are highly welcome. Watch out for meeting dates and events.
iAct
Series of community projects or events specially designed by members of the R’s that promotes the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ in acts and demonstration of Love. We recently organized a program called “700 acts of Love” on Feb 14, 2011 and we hope that following year would be 10,000 acts of Love. Look at Events to check out latest, past and future events.

“UConnect”:
Events that allow networking, business and social buddy-buddy, thereby equipping adult with tools that will give them an edge in their professional career and personal ambitions. This network will strongly be backed by our mentors and strongly promote individuals in living beyond their comfort zones.
Mapit
Forthcoming arm of The R’s that aims at bridging the gap between adults and the teenagers “youth” through active mentoring relationship and guidance.
